 "This evening, the singing of these women was simply magical.  The sleek, pure entrance of their voices carried the character of this special type of music.  In ever changing combinations, the artists would sing in unison, then move into Organum in forths -- a second voice at a set distance from the main melody -- and on occasion would become more polyphonic.  An inegral component to the sound was Michael Popp, who with a multitude of instruments accompanied some of the pieces, sometimes playing small interludes between them.  Among others, he employed the use of the vielle, harp, bells, and santur, a Persian stringed instrument..."
